Disclaimer & Limitations

Last Updated: June 11, 2026

Welcome to Expert Build Calc’s disclaimer and limitations page. We built our construction calculators to speed up your daily math. Whether you need material estimates for a concrete driveway or project planning for a new roof, we want to help. But you need to know how these tools actually work before you start building.

Every calculator on this site is simply a digital estimating tool. When you type numbers into the mulch calculator, concrete block calculator, or lumber calculator, our system uses standard math formulas. It gives you a clean baseline. It does not give you a flawless shopping list.

A computer screen does not know your actual site conditions. A gravel calculator assumes your subgrade is perfectly flat. We all know raw dirt is rarely level. A sheetrock calculator does not know if your wall framing is perfectly square. You will always face material waste, accidental breaks, and bad cuts when handling raw building supplies. You must figure out your own waste factor for every job.

Safety and rules matter a lot. Tools like the box fill calculator, rafter calculator, and duct calculator touch on highly regulated systems. The numbers you see here do not guarantee structural integrity. They completely ignore local building codes and municipal zoning laws.

Because of this, Expert Build Calc disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We provide this website strictly for educational and general reference purposes. We are not liable for any damages, financial losses, or construction delays arising from the use of this site.

By using this website, you agree that you are solely responsible for verifying every calculation. You are also entirely responsible for complying with your local laws. We strongly advise you to check your numbers with a licensed contractor, structural engineer, or master electrician before you spend money on materials.

Do not rely on our results as the final say for your project budgets. We take no responsibility if you buy the wrong amount of topsoil or order too few roof trusses. You use the data on Expert Build Calc completely at your own risk.
